Session: Doing the Right Things, Right!
Abilities Manitoba and the Province of Manitoba formed a partnership in late 2017 to develop a system and framework for delivering quality services to adults with intellectual disabilities in Manitoba. The aim was to better understand if people supported in Manitoba were living good lives, as defined by what matters most to them, and as directed by their own choices. The data that was gathered, coupled with information about leading practice in high-quality services, now equips service providers to improve their supports at individual and organizational levels.
Knowing how to do the right things right is the definition of quality. Come to learn what was achieved in phase one of this project, and find out where it’s headed in phase two.
