River Christie-White

River is a First nations youth from Oneida Nation Of The Thames. He is a Hoop dancer, fancy dancer, flute player, singer, a presenter and a motivational speaker.

River has spent the last 8 years traveling the pow wow trail spreading awareness for autism and disability. After tragically losing his friend to suicide due to bullying because she was autistic, River then too experienced bullying due to his own autism Since that time River decided to travel to more First Nations communities to talk to people and educate them on autism (ASD), bullying, suicide prevention and the importance of fostering inclusion in communities everywhere. His main message being “just because someone is different doesn’t mean they don’t belong!”
